The decision of whether to cancel fixtures is made at the full discretion of the host school between 6.00am to 7.00am on Saturday mornings, following an inspection of their sports grounds.
The safety and wellbeing of our students, and the parents and carers that accompany them to weekend sports, is of paramount importance to us.
In the event of inclement weather leading into weekends, Saturday sports fixtures may be cancelled if sports fields or other outdoor facilities are determined to be unsafe to play on. This would only occur during periods of severe weather events such as - but not limited to - heavy rainfall, high winds, stormy conditions and extreme temperatures. Cancellations are less likely to occur for indoor fixtures (PDF 248.4KB).
